The Smart Farming Technology Laboratory (SFTL) was established on the end of 2001 and formerly known as ' Bio-Engineering Laboratory (BEL).

SFTL involves in four main activities:

• Interdisciplinary research and development work in smart farming technology
• Postgraduate research programs
• Dissemination of innovative knowledge and technology
• Consultation

Objective

  • To be a leading research center in Smart Farming Technology.
  • To develop world class research laboratories in Smart Farming Technology.
  • To disseminate innovative knowledge and technologies through seminars, publication and conferences.
