The International Symposium & Exhibition on Geoinformation 2006 (ISG2006)

The International Symposium & Exhibition on Geoinformation 2006 (ISG2006) merupakan acara tahunan untuk golongan professional dan pengamal yang terlibat dalam teknologi Geoinformasi termasuk tinjauan dan pemetaan, Hidrografi, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Remote Sensing, pemprosesan imej, pengautomatan pemetaan dan teknologi informasi. Acara anjuran bersama Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM), Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Institut Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) dan PEJUTA memilih tema “Empowering the changing world through Geoinformation Technologies” sebagai tema simposium pada tahun ini. Simposium ini telah dirasmikan oleh Prof Madya Sr. Dr. Juazer Rizal bin Abd Hamid pada 19 September 2006 di Sheraton Subang Hotel & Towers.

The International Symposium & Exhibition on Geoinformation 2006 (ISG2006)

The International Symposium & Exhibition on Geoinformation 2006 (ISG2006) was an annual event for professionals and practitioners who involved in Geoinformation technology including mapping and surveillance, Hydrography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Remote Sensing, Image Processing, Mapping Automation and information technology. Co-organized event held by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM), Kuala Lumpur Infrastructure University College (KLIUC), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Institut Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) dan PEJUTA has choose a theme on “Empowering the changing world through Geoinformation Technologies” as a symposium theme this year. This symposium was officiated by Assoc. Prof Sr. Dr. Juazer Rizal bin Abd Hamid on 19 th September 2006 at Sheraton Subang Hotel & Towers.

2005

International Conference Defense Technology (ICDT-2005) 29 th Nov to 2 nd December, Marriott, Putrajaya, Malaysia . This conference was jointly organized with Sri Jentayu Global Sdn. Bhd and Ministry of Defense.

On 6 th to 8 th December 2005, Spatial and Computational Engineering Conference (SPACE 2005) was held at Marriott Hotel, Putrajaya. About 30 participants presented their papers.

International Society for Photogrametry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) workshop was held on 8 th to 10 th December, 2005. The Workshop was held at Malaysian Remote Sensing Center (MACRES). About 70 participants had attended this workshop.

Remote Sensing Course for Military was held for 4 weeks starting 8 th August to 7 th October, 2005. About 30 participants had attended this course. This course was jointly organized with Ministry of Defense, E-Spatial Resources Sdn Bhd and Universiti Putra Malaysia.

International Symposium on Geoinformations 2005 (ISG2005) was held on 27 th until 29 th Sept. 2005 at Batu Feringghi, Penang, Malaysia. ISG2005 was jointly organized by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Univerisiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), The Instituition of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) and Kuala Lumpur Infrastructures Universiti College (KLIUC).
