Master With Thesis Program

  • Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering with CGPA of at least 2.50 (Second Class Lower); or
  • Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering with CGPA 2.50 and of at least three (3) years working 
       experience in relevant field.

MICRONES Innovation Helps Overcome Loss Of Crude Palm Oil During Extraction
SERDANG, May 4 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) researchers, along with their research partners, have succeeded in developing Maceration Induced Cell Rupturing Oil Nut Extraction Synthesis (MICRONES), a new technology to help overcome the problem of loss of crude palm oil during extraction process. MICRONES will change the extraction process of crude palm oil (CPO) and kernels from a cost-consuming process to one that will bring about profits, thereby reducing losses suffered by oil palm mills.

ITMA GAINED ACCESS TO THE SYNCHROTRON FACILITIES IN THAILAND
THAILAND, January 2019 – Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA) gained access to the facilities at the Synchrotron Light Research Institute (SLRI), Thailand through the ITMA Mobility Program from 21 to 31 January 2018. A total of 17 staff and students, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lim Hong Ngee participated in this program. SLRI is located at the Nakhon Ratchasima province, Thailand, which is about 250 km away from Bangkok. This institution is a public organization under the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Royal Thai Government and operates the first synchrotron facility in Thailand. They provide numerous measurement systems such as XPS, XAS and PEEM to facilitate researchers from local and international institution or industry.
